Spider

Overview

A solitaire played with two complete decks (104 cards), where you assemble descending sequences from King to Ace, of the same suit, to remove them from the board.

Preparation

• 10 columns: the first 4 receive 6 cards, the other 6 receive 5 cards — only the last one in each column is face up.
• The remaining 50 cards form the pile, distributed in groups of 10 (one for each column) whenever you draw.

How to play

• A card can be placed on top of another of value one higher, of any suit.

The 7♥ fits over the 8♠ even though it is of a different suit, but this does not form a sequence of the same suit.

• It is only possible to move several cards together if they form a sequence of the same suit, in descending order.

• An empty column accepts any card or sequence.
• Drawing from the pile adds a new card, face up, to each of the 10 columns — it is only possible to draw if none of the columns are empty.

• Whenever a full straight (King to Ace, same suit) forms in a column, it is automatically removed to the full straight stack.

Victory

You win by completing the 8 sequences (the 104 cards organized into 8 groups from King to Ace).
