Create a card game and build decks without coding
Create your card game in Deckopedia Studio: choose decks, build custom decks, organize the table, define rules and test in the browser.
A game idea, a deck and a visual editor
Deckopedia Studio allows you to create card games with a regular deck without writing JavaScript. You choose the cards, organize the areas of the table and define what happens in each move. Rules can be assembled with an assistant and then adjusted by snippets of a sentence or by advanced blocks.
How to create a deck game on Deckopedia
- Choose a starting point. Use “Create from Scratch” to follow the guidance or customize a template from the catalog.
- Assemble the deck. Select suits, values, copies, jokers and single cards. Define the values that your rules will use.
- Organize the table. Create stacks, hands, columns and grids. Drag areas, adjust the size and add texts, indicators and buttons.
- Define the rules and objective. Choose events, conditions and effects. For example: allowing two cards to be moved only when the sum of the values is 13.
- Test and share. Play the preview, check the result, adjust the idea and export the game. With an account, save your creation and publish a playable version via link.
Build custom card decks
A game does not need to use all 52 cards from one deck. In Studio, you can work with several independent decks, repeat copies or choose only specific cards. You can also add wild cards and different values per card and suit.
These values are separate from the card order. A rule might treat the Ace as value 14 without changing its identity, for example. This helps you create captures by sum, costs, points, life and other interactions specific to your game.
Try a first rule with 5 and 8 of hearts
In the editor's guidance, a simple example is to keep only the 5 and 8 of hearts. Create a movement from the hand to the table, select exactly two cards and demand a sum equal to 13. In the preview, a single card must be rejected; the two joints can be moved.
This small test helps you check selection, values, origin and destination before adding more cards or conditions. Then you can change the deck and see how the rules behave.
Customize the interface and test on mobile
Free areas have movement and size, co-selection, alignment, and distribution handles. In templates, blocks are organized into groups that can be moved, duplicated and edited. The preview shows where the element will be placed; Esc cancels the gesture.
You can check the layout on your cell phone and choose how the table adapts. The editor also provides a playable preview, edit history, and field-side warnings when a rule uses an area that has been removed.
Start with a familiar game
All games in the catalog have editable templates in the creator. Open the rules to get to know the idea and, in Studio, choose the model to explore its decks, its interface and its actions.
What is possible to do without an account?
You can create, test, import and export games without signing in. The draft stays in the browser. To save creations in the account and publish a link, you must log in; The number of games saved depends on the plan. Exporting allows you to save the file and edit it again later.
Custom games use the Deckopedia solo engine. The editor allows you to configure automatic turns and computer behaviors, but real-time multiplayer matches are not yet available.
